Refund & Subscription Policy
Last updated: 2026-06-07
This policy covers subscription billing, automatic renewal, cancellation, and refunds for TransBuddy ("the Service"). Payments are processed by Paddle as our Merchant of Record, and Paddle’s buyer terms also apply.
1. Free Trial
New users may be offered a 7-day free trial. If you cancel before the trial ends, you will not be charged. If you do not cancel, the trial automatically converts to your selected plan and is billed at the end of the trial.
2. Automatic Renewal
Subscriptions renew automatically for the selected period (monthly/yearly) until cancelled, and the applicable price is charged at each renewal.
3. How to Cancel
You can cancel at any time. After cancellation, billing stops from the next renewal, and you keep access for the period you have already paid for.
- Open the Paddle customer portal via "Manage subscription" in the app settings
- Or use the subscription-management link in the Paddle receipt email you received at checkout
- If you have any trouble, contact us using the details below
4. 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee
You may request a refund for any reason within 30 days of a paid charge (30-day money-back guarantee). Upon refund, the subscription ends immediately, and the refund is issued to your original payment method through Paddle.
Refunds may be limited or declined in the following cases:
- More than 30 days have passed since the charge (except where mandatory law provides otherwise)
- Clear excessive/abnormal use or repeated refund requests that we reasonably deem an abuse of the guarantee
5. Statutory Withdrawal Rights
You may have a statutory right of withdrawal under the consumer-protection laws of your country. Mandatory rights — such as those under the EU Consumer Rights Directive or Korea’s Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce — take precedence over this policy. However, for digital content whose delivery began immediately with your consent and which you have used, the right of withdrawal may be limited as permitted by law.
6. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, contact us with the email used for payment and your receipt (order) number. We will review and process it within a reasonable time.
- Email: [email protected]
7. Complaints and Dispute Resolution
Please send any billing or refund complaint to the email above; we aim to respond within 7 business days. As payments are processed by Paddle, you may also raise inquiries or refund requests through Paddle (paddle.net).
If a complaint cannot be resolved to your satisfaction, you may seek help from the consumer dispute body in your country (for example, the EU Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform, or Korea’s Consumer Agency / Electronic Commerce Dispute Mediation Committee).
